At ICT Primary School Division, our experienced members of the staff are dedicated to collaborating in the integrated development of our students. Our inspiration is The Ignatian Teaching Model which aims to form well-rounded Christians who are not only academically competent, but also compassionate, respectful and generous to all. We are hopeful that our students will make an impact in society in their everyday actions and sensible decision-making processes.

The Spanish curriculum is backed up by the Ministry of Education (Secretaría de Educación  Pública: SEP) and its sub-division (Secretaría de Educación de Tamaulipas: SET). The English curriculum, by contrast, is validated by the University of Cambridge, which certifies the students’ English proficiency level once they graduate from Primary School.

The members of the staff continuously focus on the upgrading, certification and academic development. They plan their lessons according to the characteristics and needs of the students (children and pre-adolescents). The Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm (context, experience, reflection, action, evaluation) is the core of their teaching method and students’ learning: Our teachers actively participate in seminar courses, in order to research, reflect, and delve into education-related objectives.

Our spiritual advisors provide individuals and groups of students, guidance in their journey to “find God in all things”, in St. Ignatius of Loyola’s vision. For this purpose, we celebrate masses, offer retreat programs, confession, conferences (in the classroom and auditorium), and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament throughout the year.
